Brief Bio

Dr. Margie Olbinado is an Industrial Liaison Scientist at the Paul Schrerrer Institute in Switzerland. She belongs to the X-ray Tomography Group at PSI since 2019. Margie is an expert in X-ray phase-contrast imaging and tomography, and other X-ray related techniques. She is the first Filipino to join the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), where she worked initially as a postdoctoral fellow before becoming a Junior Scientist. Her body of work is a testament to her exemplary talent and discipline.
